Default silly question from silly user

hey all, I recently purchased my '10 mustang GT and I was wondering few things.

First off I want to supercharge it, that is my first project, so any recommendations on the best one?

Second off, what is the difference between the super cobra and the gt-500 ??

third question, since its too late for me to switch out the rims I ordered with the vehicles before I changed my mind, I will be selling my brand new 19" luster nickel painted aluminum wheels (priced at around $800+) I was wondering if anyone wanted to buy them/ and or trade me for the 19" black machined washed rims and I would pay them the difference since those cost like $1000+ .

thanks take it easy fellas

Edelbrock for the SuperCharger.
There is a write up about it in MM&FF or one of those S197 mags this month.

Those rims will sell like hot cakes in the classified section of the forum.
Heck PM me with the details (TPMS sensors included for that price, location).
DIBBS.

I wanted to add to the question, I was told by a Ford tech. that the 2010 4.6 liters arn't built to a good standard and have blown up on numerous tests when they added any forced induction. Should I take his word for it or is it something I can easily fix with getting a forged bottom end?

there are plenty of superchargers, with tons of installations on them, reported on the forum! Everything from Whipples to Vortechs, even turbo chargers. Do a search in the 2005-2008+ section, as those models have the same engine as the 2010. If you go with too much boost you can destroy your engine as soon as you want.

There is no such thing as a super cobra. If you mean the Super Snake, that is a GT500 that has been sent back to Shelby Automotive and sits there for a while until it is converted into a 600 or 700 hp monster. You probably cannot afford one. Most can't. And they don't convert the 4.6 GT.
