what is this piece looks like it is causing my exhaust rattle





what is that metal rubber insulated piece going over the mid pipe below the drive shaft looks almost like a support if my ds were to break loose if thats the case im screwed anyway lol can i just remove this piece or no

I don't know what that piece is but if you think it's causing the rattle why not just tighten it up and see if that stops the rattle???

 

well i actually took it off my mid pipe was rubbing against it

hope its nothin of importance?!?!?
