Maybe we do and maybe we don't have a chime reminder. For '07, the IUP is supposed to display a turn signal on reminder if the turn signal is activated and the vehicle is driven more than 1/2 mile.

I don't have the IUP, so I don't know if a chime gives a warning for the turn signal or not.

One time I thought I had released the e-brake all the way, but I hadn't. It was bright sunlight, and the instrument panel warning lights were not very visible. I pulled out of a parking lot and when I had traveled a short distance on the street, I heard a chime. I looked down and saw that the brake warning light was on. I released the e-brake fully. The light and chime went away. Until then, I didn't know there was a warning chime for having the e-brake on while driving.

When it makes the chime sound, try to see if the interior lights are coming on, or the door ajar indicatior comes on? I had trouble when I made a sharp turn that the door would slightly move and turn on the interior lights, I know you say there is no indicator on, but just a suggestion.

if you have IUP, there is a turn signal reminder (at least on the 2005). It's described on page 58 of the 2005 owner's manual.

"TURN SIGNAL ON REMINDER. Displayed when the turn signal is
activated and the vehicle is driven more that 1/2 mile (0.8 km)."

I'm trying to remember (out of town right now...), do we have a weight sensor for the passenger seat? Maybe the weight sensor in the passenger seat thinks it's detecting a passenger without their seatbelt on? Did you have anything in the pax seat, like a backpack or something? Just a thought...
