I swear there has to be something different with some cars, because once I'm rolling it runs like a raped ape, it's the initial take off.

It's like these graphics, normal car has linear reaction to throttle, while mine feels like the curved graph and it rolls in to the throttle.

Our cars will always be like that since we dont have an actual throttle cable. the CPU is engineered to be like that

That's exactly the sort of thing that can be done easily with DBW, and I think that at least some of the tunes tinker with it.

FWIW, it's common for lower powered cars to have a response curve that's concave downward just to make it feel peppier than it really is (and after about 1/2 throttle there isn't much more left).

No I'm related the first graph to a normal Mustang, opposed to mine. I know what you mean.

When my car was stock I was able to break the tires free from a roll in first gear just by stabbing the throttle. Now with my mods I can break the tires free from a roll in second gear. About two weeks ago I was showing off to my wife, she called my car slow, so from a roll in second gear I stomped the throttle and the tires broke free. That put a biiig grin on her face. I have 255x45x18 kdw2's now, I was shocked when I heard them squeal.

See that's what I mean, I know you have a manual and I don't expect to break them free in a roll, but hell from a standing stop I think I should, and it's not like the power isn't there, it really feels like something with the throttle. I've had different tunes, re-calibrated the throttle (not sure if that does anything anyhow), even on stock tires and wheels, it's like the car says "ok, let me see, yup, lets GO!" *shrug*

I wish there was a local tuner that I could work with that would be willing to see if it's something tune wise or beyond that.

Yeah i need to get my car to a dyno or dragstrip so I can see whether it is really weak or not. I guess thats the only way to tell for sure if your engine is a dog or if your suspension/tires are super grippy.

Last time I was at the strip barely a month ago the car ran a 14.3 @ 99.72mph. The DA was 5250'. Corrected values were 13.36 @ 106mph.

To me, that seems fine. That was before the gears were installed back when I had 3.55.

Seems unlikely the car has a problem as far as how much power its putting out or how its running.
