So the distinction between 05-09 and 2010 axlebacks is purely a sales ploy to justify higher prices?

I did think it was odd that something as simple as mufflers for the 2010 wouldn't fit on the 05-09 chassis. I thought maybe the hangers were moved or something stupid like that.

I haven't put my hands on a 010 yet, but judging by the fact that the rear bumper protudes out more, the muffler tips owe to be longer to make up for it.
It will bolt on though.

The hood might fit the 05/09 but not sure it'll look good without a custom grille...
Rear spoiler might work too.

Are the suspension parts the same? I want the springs/struts/sways from the track package. I hope the differences are minimal like comparing EG/EK Civics.

No, the panel below the 1/4 window.

You're talking about the quarter panel, which is welded...

Lots of work girl, you'd also have to modify the 05 door as the raise starts with the door end.
Modify that quarter as well, to make it work with the 05 rear bumper.
Then you'll have the fender to deal with, since the wheel arch lines are differents...

I've been advised that the suspension parts are the same.

I'll find out today though - installing springs.

Did anyone ever try any of the retrofits? Interested to know which parts worked.
