My 2010 GT has 529 miles on it and my 1st mods will be:

http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...880&perfCode=S

http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...60K&perfCode=S

http://www.jegs.com/i/BBK/129/26180/10002/-1

I got a shop in the area to order and install all these parts for about $1200.00

Why is the world would ford offer the 3.73 only in a stick? That pisses me off.

I'm interested in creating the feel of performance by way of a sport suspension system that lowers the the car's center of gravity while hugging the road at high rates of speed ....tonight i was cruising home from a friends party, and some old guy in his sport mazda miata thought he could run with my Stang. we were cruising around 80 mph when i decided to pull his chain. I floored it in 4th gear and in no time i was at 130mph he was way back there....i slowed back down to 80mph..and he stays back there a bit and then tries to run up on me, i let him go by then i floor it again blow by him like he's standing still it was laughable. The stock Stang suspension is really good especially for a live axle set up...i'm gonna make mine better....with the for mentioned set up...

Probably because with the automatic there's no difference between 3:55's and 3:73's in the performance department. Instead of 16 mpg around town with the stick, your looking at 14 mpg with an automatic that uses 3:73's...

you probably had 3:31's originally, and if that's the case your mods are probably complimented by your new 3:73's. if you race a 5 speed with the same mods as you he will probably beat you, your x-factor is a stall-speed converter...

Thanks to all of you for your replies and suggestions. Gives me some things to think about until it gets here.

The automatic has shorter gears in 2nd and 3rd than the manual, and the torque converter tends to help cover a bit for 1st. So until you actually NEED to be in 4th (1:1 in both trannies) an automatic doesn't need axle gears that are quite as short as the MT does.

Automatic tranny cars have commonly been fitted with different axle gears (slightly "taller") than their manual tranny counterparts, so this is not something new.

I believe it will to the GT500 rear spoiler though... Anyone know for sure if that is the case?
Correct, we don't offer a wing for the rear camera. However, for $4999 you could get the Roushcharger kit with a 3/36 powertrain warranty.
