I'm really surprised that nobody has suggested a tune yet, unless nobody has anything for the 10's ready yet. That's been one of the things that most people with automatics feel wakes up the shifting in the automatic S197's.

I got a shop in the area to order and install all these parts for about $1200.00
I can't get to those links from work, but if they're Sportlines you'll have the appearance of performance without really having the performance improvement itself. Too low screws up the suspension geometry by more than the lower CG helps. Then again, if you only drive moderately hard in the corners it may not matter to you. Going 130 mph on the Interstate doesn't count as hard cornering . . . unless you get a little sideways.

Strut tower braces mostly reduce NVH without doing much of anything for handling, certainly not with street tires. My opinion - save your money.

BTW, that Miata driver hasn't developed the wisdom to pick his battles with any care at all. He'd already beaten himself before you ever got started.

I saw that as well. My first sound mod will be the exhaust. My local dealer has sold several 427Rs and I was behind one in traffic and it sounds awesome!!! How much will this mod set me back? Is the $585 just the axle-backs I assume? What else would be needed to duplicate the exhaust note?

Any plans to make one that accomodates the rear camera??
