303 is an excellent product, I'm not too sure on how it would workout on the mustangs leather though...check out detailersdomain.com or autogeek.net and get yourself a good leather conditioner and shampoo. There really isn't too many great products available over the counter besides lexol. Personally I have had the best experience with Leather Masters, but I am pretty picky when it comes to products cause I am a detailer haha, If you have any more Q's about detailing or products let me know.

What are you talking about? 303 Aerospace protectant is the world's most manufacturer recommended product and it's main use is FOR outdoors.
That's the main reason it was made... to protect outdoor materials such as vinyl from U.V. rays.

Convertible tops and R.V. decals (aka vinyl decals) are two of it's major attractors. Where exactly are you getting your information from?

Are you talking about some other 303 product such as the fabric guard or vinyl CLEANER?

By the way, Starfire lives in Chicago where the winters are brutal and he says it has helped his vinyl stripes stay perfect for over two years.

I use 303 on my Bullitt leather seats and I think it works really well. Keeps the color and mat finish with just a little shine and keeps the leather soft so it doesn't crack. Also works well on the tires and all other rubber parts and seals.

I have used aerospace 303 on my marine vinyl for years, and like it. But I ordered this which is supposed to be for leather seats, in convertibles.

Funny how a 6 year old thread comes to life and has some good info.
I too have used 303 Protectant on my boat seats as well as the Vinyl and trim on the Mustang. You can find it at most Boat stores.

I put lexol conditioner on the seats/dashboard and let it absorb and dry up a bit. Then I do a light coat of the 303. Haven't had any issues. I use the 303 on everything else in the interior, I like that it doesn't leave a greasy shine.

Sorry for being late to the party! If anyone is interested in some free samples of 303® Aerospace Protectant or any of our other items (link below) please feel free to reach out.

Thanks to everyone for the positive words about 303® Aerospace Protectant! As for automotive leather, a vast majority of those seats are actually coated with vinyl. For those seats you could still use 303® Aerospace Protectant. Let us know if you have any questions.

Have a great day
