Magnaflow off-road X

Magnaflow off-road X
Has anyone actually used one? I've read a hundred posts about their catted pipe, and I even had one on my 04 GT. I was wondering if anyone had read anything, or preferably heard the off-road X that Magnaflow offers.
I'm looking for something to go on my 08 Roush 427R. I have their exhaust upgrade, which I've been told are the same as the Borla or FRPP Stingers. I know that an off-road H would be the loudest, but I'm looking for something with a louder, but still fairly smooth or clean sound. I've heard that the factory pipes flow much better than on the older models, so I've also considered just adding Magnaflow cats to my factory pipe. I doubt that an off-road X, even one by Magnaflow, would give me clean, but I just thought I'd ask around. I haven't heard of anyone using the off-road Magnaflow. Thanks in advance

First off, nice car.
Second, you could always youtube clips of people with stingers and whatever midpipe you're looking at, however from what i hear, and X pipe will make the exhaust noise more raspy. Good luck!

Ive heard a soundclip of the magnaflow O/R X and stingers and it sounded just like any other O/R pipe! the X pipe will be raspy without cats no matter what brand you use + magnaflow is very pricey for just an O/R pipe IMO.

I figured it would be raspy, and probably not what I'd be looking for. I was curious more than anything. It's one of those things that I haven't seen or heard yet. I'm sure I'll go catted, but it's a toss up between the Magnaflow X and maybe the MRT H. I was under the car yesterday, and I couldn't believe how big the factory cats are. Between the size of the factory cats, the very short distance from the manifolds and location near the bend in the pipe, there really isn't much room to just weld in some aftermarket high-flow cats. I've also considered a catted Prochamber, but I can't find one. I heard they weren't making them anymore.
I'd go cattless, but I'm getting stationed in CA in a few months. Even though I have no plans to register my car there, I don't feel like getting hassled by cops over loud pipes. I guess I'll keep searching for sound clips. Thanks again.

I have the magnaflow catless x pipe with magnaflow muffs. I have ran it with stock exhaust mana folds. and now with BBK tuned headers.. Sound is good. Not so loud as to get pulled over for. The bbK headers took some of the raspyness out of the pipe.....Sorry no sound clips.

I have Kooks LT non catted. With Borla's there was too much drone in the cabin.I put stock Gt mufflers on and sounds great with no drone at all.And no I didnt lose any HP.Total myth and have dyno's to show.Save your post.
