Well, I picked up my car with the new windshield. Its looks factory original with the horse logo in the middle top. Everything seems to have been done OK.

I told the dealer I wanted to talk to the service manager but he was conveniently on vacation today. He suppose to be in next Monday so I will call him then. I asked the service person if I will get a survey from Ford and they said yes and unless I am completely satisfied they will fail. I told them I was NOT completely satisfied at this point and I wanted to talk to the manager. Although I am not sure how to handle the manager as they did fix the car and gave me a loaner car. So I am not sure how hard to come down on them.

Well, I talked to the service manager who was upset about the glass as much as me since he has to pay it himself, he can't charge Ford the $300. He talked to the two tecs who were working on it and they swear they didn't not mean to do it, they just could not break the mirror free from the glass. Ford really used some strong glue. As the manager said "Stuff happens".

Today the low tire pressure light came on. I checked and the right rear tire was down to 15 psi. I looked and I picked up a big screw someplace!!!!

I called the dealer and he took me in right away and fixed the tire and did a NYS inspection (I needed one since I just registered it in NY). He didn't charge me for the tire fix or inspection. He is trying to make good from the windsheild incident. They are really trying to make me happy. So when I get the survey from Ford I am not going to give them a hard time.

That comment makes no sense. Ford sells thousands of Mustangs each year and cause of a bad few that makes all 2010 Mustangs bad. And in 2011 there will be no problems???

It can be tested during the day.
You dont have to drive it at might to test it if you have the
Ford diagnostic tools at hand....

just use your hand to cover the front photovoltaic sensor. light in back > light in front = mirror darkens. Try backing out of a garage thats a little dark on a sunny day, same idea.

I just hit 3,000 miles on my car, and I havent had too many complaints w/ the exception of the headlights being pointed too low also! I'm probably going to adjust them up a lil, and my passenger side panel w/ the window switch has popped out twice, not sure why, but that's gotta get addressed!!

Would you mind directing me to a forum for any year of any car in which there are no issues?

Silence is deafening.
