Default Buying a used SCT. What to look out for?

How can i tell if has been returned to stock and not been reset like 5 times? Im hoping to pick up an x3 for 200 (hes asking 250) but cant afford to buy something that wont work. If i bought it do you think sct would help if i ran into problems with it?

Sct will help you for the right amount of money. Ask the seller how many times its been locked. The device will tell you.

Plug the tuner into your obdII port. Scroll to device info and select. This will tell you the current version, lock status, number of unlocks left.
