Default drag wheels?

My teammate has an 06 gt, n/a, 5 spd, minor bolt ons, gears, on et streets, and went 12.55 @ 108 mph. We added headers and took off some minor weight. The car does not hook up on the et streets anymore and we wanna go to a full slick.

What are our choices for putting on a 15 inch drag wheel? I know one choice is bogart...but is there anyway to modify the caliper (grinding) to make a weld pro star fit? Is there any other drag wheel that will fit the 05 and up stangs other than bogart? Those things are crazy expensive!!!

Thanks!

If you don't want to spend a ton of money, Jegs/Summit has some 15" wheels that will fit. Check out Jegs P/N 555-67051 & 555-67077.

They fit...you'll need to grind the rear calipers. PM sent.

I have some Weld Draglites #90-58340 rims with M/T slicks (15x8" rim, 26/10-slicks) that I'm selling. You'd possibly need to grind the rear calipers or use a spacer to get them to fit right. They are much lighter than DRs!

(PM me or search Austin Tx craigslist for more info)
