Default BRENSPEEDS NON I.C. V3 KIT ?'S

Wondering What 1/4 mile times people are getting with this kit on a stock car? And if you installed it yourself how difficult was it and how long did it take?

Mid 12's is average for a non-IC kit....Heat Soak is a big issue at the track though

+1 on the heat soak issue. I was going for the budget deal 3799.00, but after getting into Brenspeed the day I was to have the install done, I thought about it and then went with my original desire - Saleen Stage 2. Yeah, I know, big jump in price. That's why my wife still doesn't know, but I think she's beginning to get suspiscious because she is starting to notice the quicker acceleration getting on the interstate.

Many have done the V3 N/I, and do love it. There is a lot of good feedback on it. I am not knocking it at all. It is a good unit and you can't beat the price for. The down side is the heat soak though which results in power robbing becuase of hotter air entering the intake after the car has been running a while. Being you are in NY this may not be as adverse as in other areas further south.

Brenspeed says they install at least one of these per week, so you can't go wrong. That many people getting them with the only downside being some heatsoak issues is a good sign the package holds up well.

Good luck and enjoy. Either way, you'll have a crap eatin' grin on your face the first time you mash the throttle after you get it installed. I'm still wearing mine.
