Default Installed Paxton from Brenspeed!!!!!!!!

I installed my paxton kit from brenspeed this weekend. Just took it out for a drive. WOW!!!!! It is hard to describe the difference. Just the differnece between thier tune and the one i had on the car is huge. The throttle hesitation is gone! The bottom end sluggishness is gone!!!!! I can't belive how good it is breathing. Just the denser air from the intercooler is making a huge difference. All of this is before it ever makes a pound of boost. When the boost comes on, it reminds me of the old 250hp NOS kits we used to use in the late 80's. We were cruising down the interstate at 100 and nailed it, and it still jumps up and pins you. This thing is all they told me and more.

I couldn't recommend Brenspeed any higher. I am new to this new mustang stuff, and decided to go with them based on all of your comments about them. They were extremely helpful, had great instructions, and they have everything packaged in a kit that comes complete and makes it very easy to install. It is a pretty big job, and i had a few questions, but dave at brenspeed was extremely helpful, he returned phone calls and everything!!!!! Just can't say enough about them. Thank Brenspeed!!!!!!!!

Cool, do atop speed run and post the results,i amvery interested inwhat a s/c really does for top speed. If you canbottom the speedo and keep going im getting one. That one requires an oil line feed, any problems with leaks?

yes, it's an auto.

Xbone, exactly what do you want me to do, see how high it will run on the top end???? I went to 135 today in just a few seconds from 100. I have a 4.10 in the car, and it had a lot more to go. I know i have seen on here about a limiter???? I have not been that high, but i will take it out when i get the chance and see.

Yes, it does have an oil supply and return. I didn't have any trouble, no leaks, etc. I have seen guys say they do not lik,e them because you have to tap the pan. Tapping it was no big deal to me. In fact, i like the engine oiling fro the supercharger much better than it having it's own ioling. I have an 8-71 on my camaro, and changing the oil each time in the blower is a pain. I finally found this bottle a guy invented fro them that has an air valve so you can pressurize the bottle.

I went with the paxton because that is what brenspeed liked. Really, that was the only reason. they have it all ready to go in one kit, tune already programmed, everything. It is great!!!

i saw the brenspeed video, and near the end he nearly went from 0-85 in about 4 sec, and that 0-60 looked like 2 secs. Is it really that quick?

i really do not know about the 0-60 times. My wife still has stock tires and it just eats them alive. It will literally get sideways in the first 3 gears. I can tell you from 60 to 100 is almost instant, and we were going 100 on the interstate today, and when i punch it, it still jump up underneat and we were at 135, but had to stop.

I am pretty new to this mustang stuff, but have done a lot of mods for her lately. I do know fast although, i currently have an 8 second camaro, and have had many cars. I would say this is definately and 11 second car, with slicks and convertor, probably low 11's. Thats my guess. But as for a street car, the thing is awesome. I can't say enough about the guys at brenspeed. They do a terrific job.
