Default Radio Problem

Today when I turned on my vehicle, my Shaker 500 said, "Mustang" in the center of the radio. It would turn on, none of the buttons worked on the steering wheel either. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a reset somewhere for the radio? The dealership didn't seem to know anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have it set for auxiliary with no auxiliary device plugged in?

I wasn't aware that there was a setting. I had my Zune plugged into the USB port. I unplugged but received nothing back after doing that. I had noticed however since I had bought in took a couple pushes of the power button to get it to turn on. Is there some switch I'm not aware of or button toggle sequence that you know of? I didn't see a reset switch anywhere either.

I was having some trouble with my ipod sync system this morning. It recognized it but nothing was playing through the speakers. That was the first bit of trouble i have had out of mine. As for a reset I have no idea. Might want to check out www.syncmyride.com for some help.

My car is at the dealership. I will tell you this, the people working on it (supposedly) have no clue what the problem is and needless to say my entire center counsel has been taken out. When I called this evening to get a rental car they stated that a piece had been ordered but couldn't confirm what it was. All I had to say to that was please get it fixed and make sure its put back in the condition you found it. So hopefully they dont tear up the upholstery.

I got the car back. They had to replace the entire radio. And maybe my hearing is off but I don't believe the sound is what it from before. I'm going to check all the wiring and make sure its good.
