This means depending on what package you buy will depict what motor you get. Since I just got this info like 5 minutes ago this means I will be saving up for a new 5.0 for sure Hope this clears up the post but she also told me this is subject to change but as of right now per research and development Ford want's to make the two motors options for the 2011 model year.

Take care all
It would make sense to add a third option.
Normal V6
Ecoboost
Gt w/ the 5.0
But what will shelby do? gt600?!

I usually take anything that comes from within the 4 walls of a dealership with a grain of salt, but a buddy of mine that just started working in the parts department at a local dealership, said he just got the part numbers for 2011 EcoBoost and 2011 5.0 emblems... Granted the EcoBoost could be a Taurus emblem, but to my knowledge, nothing else is been spoken off getting a 5.0. Sounds like they're both going to be reality. And yet, I'll STILL believe it when I see them! Sure sounds fun though! My heart yearns for a 5.0 Mustang again!

O.K. guys. . .I just got a very short response to the question if the Mustang will have the Eco-Boost from Ford's Mustang Marketing Manager. I cut and pasted the response.

"No. Mustang does not get EcoBoost."

EB won't work for a mustang purchaser. Someone who is getting a mustang for performance wants the growl of a V8 and MAYBE a supercharger on the V8, not a V6 with turbos. Cost is also an issue.
