Your right the stainless will last longer but you are paying $80 for them. As far as I know there are only 2 color options for them right now chrome and black chrome. What if you want white, red, silver, blue, carbon fiber?

don't knock the vinyl man.
I had a set filling in the "Mustang" on my old 03 GT bumper
was there for years without any fading at all. just depends on the amount of sunlight they recieve, and how much effort you put into the install
