I got a SCT X3 tuned by brenspeed and I def Recommend them I love it, really feel it in the seat of your pants as they have adjusted the shift points, and I really feel that I get better Gas mileage but have not check mileage yet!

The one I got is the 5 speed, so this would be an engine only type upgrade.

There are no chips to be replaced. You have to get a tuner, like the one mentioned above, to change the operating parameters of the engine. You can buy the tuners and several tunes from any number of vendors which will help you get slightly more power out of the car. If you add modifications later (cams, supercharger, different CAI) on you will also need a tuner and a tune.

As far as power, you probably won't notice as much as us 05-09's did due to the fact that you already have a cai and are putting out an additional 15 horsepower, but you will probably gain another 5-10 or so. Gas mileage may improve slightly.

So in real terms what kind of performance increase can you get from the stock powerplant with a tune? What kind of milage gain?

Just installed new tune 93 oct. Feels pretty good. noticed much better throttle response. Didn't drive very long, too hot outside. Going on a 200 mile trip tomorrow, will check on gas mileage. Been getting 24 on hwy with 3.73 gears.
