Default My AM radio sucks - DISREGARD

I am finding a new problem with my GT with Shaker500 system, the AM radio sucks. Yea, I know, with 150+ satelite stations, 30 preset FM, 6 CD player, USB port and AUX input you would think no one ever listens to AM. But I do listen to news radio giving me traffic, weather, news that I want to hear from the people I know and trust. The AM radio has lots of noise and only the local stations come through good. The station I want is located in NYC, about 60 miles away. Every other car radio I have had picked it up great day and night. With my GT I can barely hear it though the noise and static.

Are all Shaker500 radios this bad or did my AM radio miss a tuning step and needs to be brought to the dealer?

Joe

This has already been discussed in the "What kind of problems are you having with your 2010 Mustang" thread. In fact, FordEngineer has provided a way to check your signal strength (see post #63 in that thread)

WOW! I missed that one. Thanks for pointing that out. BTW, how can I delete a thread?
