I just went ahead and did the charge cooler upgrade from brenspeed, it comes with the intercooler and allows you to run 10 psi. The best easiest option, i dunno, I know it fits the kit nicely so I went with it. Just got to find time to get it installed now!

V6 with a Vortech V2 blow-through setup with custom-made air-air intercooler.
Have used various pulley sizes along the way. Using stock fuel pump with wiring upgrade. Various tweaks to help draw in fresher air, keep bov discharge away from inlet filter, etc. Many other mods to the car, including suspension, drivetrain (torque converter, driveshaft, gt500 rear end), and exhaust.

Biggest setup issue I've had is with crankcase moisture in the winter time. With not having a traditional PCV system, the vapor removal is accomplished via the air intake pull, but have had various issued with filtering and keeping moisture out. I think I have it resolved now though.

Biggest disappointment is how sensitive the boost is to air temperatures. As ambient temps get hotter, the boost drops. Being in hot Texas summers, that's most of the time. But not having any experience with F/I before, i suppose it could be much worse.

The Vortech has performed very nicely over the past 2 years I've had it; very happy with it

2005 GT

Vortech HO V2SQ at 12 lbs. of boost

GT500 dual pumps
Bassani X pipe with cats
Bassani Mufflers
Steeda LCA's

482hp/ 410 tq

Blower has been on the car since late 2005 and has performed pretty much flawlessly. This past summer the stock Vortech piggyback fuel pump went out and at the same time the water pump for the Vortech intercooler went out. Other than that not a lick of trouble ....
