HOW QUARTS OF OIL DOES 07 MUSTANG GT TAKE?

Approximately 6.5 quarts that includes filling the oil filter.

Good choice using RP.

Yeah, i am changing the oil filter also. It'd be kinda dumb not too huh??? Either way, I buy a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 + 1 quart and there is always about half that quart left over. Who knows? Maybe ford gave me a deformed oil pan

It can vary with how level (or not) your car is when you drain plus the jugs from the stores can vary slightly from exactly a quart or whatever the value is for the container. Don't sweat a 1/2 quart or so diff between owners. Just as long as you're between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick.

Yea, thats what oil level dipsticks are for.

Remember to pre-fill those oil filters
to avoid a dry start-up while the filter fills with oil...
