and.. anybody know how to advance spark? i figured out how to tune in mafs. but timing has me stumped. i played with my car for a few minutes and got nowhere.

Try SCT Xcal or Diablo Predator tuners. Get yourself a CAI & tune combo with some good custom tunes from Brenspeed, Bama, VMP or Tillman. THEN tweak from there.
