Default New Gears installing today x3 instructions?

In shop now. When I pick it up I want to fix the speedometer and have the sctX3. How do I do this as the upgrade is not in my tune. Search is frustrating as there seems to be no How to or instructions that came with the tool from the dealer. Easy fix?

Any help?

Thanks.

Plug it in, and upload a tune.

before it uploads the tune you will be able to change settings, like spark, rev limiter, and other random crap. One of the options is to change your rear gear, so change it, and then upload the tune.

Good luck

I can't speak for the X3, but in the X2 there was a part right before you load the tune to change optional parameters. You can set your gear ratio there.

Depending upon how the tuner setup your device, you should be able to go into the advanced options (I'm doing this from memory so bear with me) right after you select your tune, but before you actually start the flashing process.

There are two choices there, I believe they are called "Advanced Options" and "Skip Options". You want Advanced options. You can change the rear end ratio and tire height if needed. Bear in mind that some tuners may lock these options and do not permit them to be altered. I know it's available in my Bama Tune.
