when im cruising down the road no matter what speed, if it is slightly rough i get a squeak noise from what sounds like the passenger side back seat. ive sat back there and tried shifting the plastics round and banging on stuff but cant find it anywhere its driving me crazy

Have a passenger ride with you and put pressure on things while you are driving. It could just be plastic or something else rubbing and rattling.

I just fixed what could be the same problem... every time id hit the smallest bump (or even just cornering moderately hard) it would make a horrible sound. I thought it was coming from the right rear seat area, but then I rode in the trunk... Come to find out I had two squeaks. If you pull the passenger side carpet out of the trunk (the vertical piece), you will see the Sirius controller (if you have sat radio). In my car this was making all kinds of noise (just pound your fist on the vertical chassis just in front of the controller and you'll know if it was that). Also, mounted to the vertical chassis brace (but on the outside of it so it's not very visible) is some kind of sensor. I found that this was hitting the frame as well, so I bent the bracket a few degrees so it wouldn't hit any more. Also, I fixed the sat radio vibration by removing the bolts that hold it on and spacing it out with rubber grommets. She is dead silent now

im going to have a passanger ride with me i think. i dont have sirius so it cant be that but i will check for the sensor tomorw after work.

thanks for the input...i also have a ton of rattles from my dash board...as does my dad in the GT

i want to pull off the top part of the dash and put some dynomat under it to shut it up..i have a quater in each side above the vent at the moment lol
