ok so i finnally finished hooking up my nitrous kit . and then i put my 18's on the car i jacked up one side and swapped them.and then jacked up the other side and swapped them. so i go to start the car and i put the key in and it wont turn!! wtf so i jack the front up and try to wiggle the front tires as my wife try's to turn the wheel and no go! i figured it was the wheel lock? i cant figure it out. i got rough with it at as well and still nothing . so i tried to unhook the battery and that didnt help. the only thing i notice is the security light is flashing but i think that may be normal? hopefully someone can help i would greatly appreciate it .

 

Well my first thought was that it was the steering lock, but you seemed to have checked that already. Only other thing I can come up with is, do you by chance own any other Fords? If so, could you accidentally be using that key? If not, maybe just try your spare Mustang key.

 

yeah i already tried my spare . i have been wiggling and trying to release it . it seems like its the wheel lock.

 

does anyone have any sugestions? i am in desperate need of help!!

 

I dont know if this could be it but on my daughters Grand Am the key wont turn if the battery is dead.

 

so i just went out and tried it and nothing . so for the hell of it thinking maybe something is in there pocket lint or something. so i heated the key up a little with a lighter and i slide the key in and bam the thing works mint . so i dont know what the hell that was all about i better keep a eye on it . well thanks for the input guys . hopefully this doesnt happen again!!
