Default Another Supercharger question for the Experienced posters!

I know there are a lot of variables to this question, but given that my car is stock with only a magnaflow magnapack exhaust. How much max rwhp can I put a 4.6 through without putting too much strain on the drivetrain? How much rwhp is on the safe side?

I talked to a technician and he told me 500 to the wheels or less would be the most for a 4.6. What is your opinions? Also anybody running a Roush r2300 supercharger on this site? Thanks guys

With a good tune, you will be ok with the blacked out Whipple 140AX! I have one on my living room floor right now!

I wish I could "Whip" it out (No pun intended), but all the places I checked in Cali want 7000-8000 installed! I deciding between the M-90 and the R2300 now.

I thought the 3-valve would take 450 if tuned correctly? I would rather be safe then sorry on big hp though.

I'd say, if you want to be cautious, keep it at or below 475 to the wheels...thats still some crazy power IMO and you wont be worrying about whether your engine will hold up or not
