Default The waiting game

I hating waiting.....Had to put my car in the shop to get the fenders and hood repainted. I took it to a high performance mustang shop to get it done and so far the results look good. I should get it back this week some time.

The reason why I had to get it repainted is when I bought the car, I knew it was involved in a small wreck before and just so happens that the paint or rather the clear that was used was very very cheap. The clear was coming off. Most shops in town wouldn't even touch the car if it was an insurance claim.....Whats up with that???? Anyway, he said he'd do it for only 400 until it turned out that the paint was coming up with the clear. So now, he's re-painting the entire front end and still only charging me 680.....which isn't bad.

Sorry for the long story!

Yeah, a carbon fiber hood that fits like ***, and will crack and the clear coat flakes in like a year or two.

OEM is the way to go.

LOL.....thats funny!

Yeah, i thought about getting a new hood, but the problem with that as well as what was said already is that I also noticed the fenders starting to bubble and flake too. Which means, either way, I would have to get it all done anyway.

I should get it back in a few days.
