Default This Is Driving Me Crazy!

I'm kinda new to this forum. Maybe someone can give me the answer to this. I have been looking at the new 2010 Mustangs and noticed the new solid strut bar on different GTs. Some have them some dont. I have looked on window stickers then built one on the internet but nothing says anything about it. Can someone tell me what package or option this bar comes on? Also what is the part number and can you buy it from Ford?

It comes with the 19 inch wheel option. You can buy one from Ford, I think someone here paid about a buck thirty for one.

poster "millpond" helped me out with these snapshots:

Order the part number shown in the picture, and ye shall receive. (10GTSTANG is correct: it's ~ $120-$130)

Too Cool! So this should fit my '08? I have seen them on the new cars and thought it would look great on my stock 'stang.

I've read of folks installing it in their '09 model year.

To be safe, give a call to your local Ford Dealership Parts Department (part # AR3Z-16A200-A) and ask about compatibility w/the '08 model.

there are dozens of strut bars available for your 2008.

Try Moss, American Muscle, etc

This one:

works for sure (without the engine shroud, though) -- but is a bit pricey in comparison, and doesn't have the same "look" as the Ford OEM part I mentioned above.

And as poster Orion mentioned, there are countless others available from 3rd party vendors.

I preferred the Ford OEM version because I wanted to leave the shroud on, it was cheaper, and it just plain looks better.
