Default SC kit with cams

is there any specific supercharger kit that would work best with frpp hot rod cams?

Your question is actually backwards. You choose a cam for your application, not the other way around. The FRPP Hot Rod cams are made for a N/A engine. If you want maximum gains from a cam and a s/c'er you need a blower grind, which the Hot Rods are not.

But, people run the Hot Rods with s/c'ers of all kinds and they work fine.

Comp Cams has several blower grinds that have the same kind of rough idle the Hot Rods do. BBR does as well.

what's up top00cat

imo the best one would be one that your local dyno tuner can work with. in the end, the way your car will behave is in your tuners hands.
