You might want to also look into a once piece aluminum drive-shaft (and maybe a loop too).

This way you can launch at a higher RPM and not have to worry about twisting the stock POS in half. Surprisingly, it doesn't take a lot of power to destroy it. But a hard launch is all it takes.
