Default Brakes are mushy after dealer visit

Well I had a problem with my brake system that made me take it to my dealer. Well they found a code (E1446) that showed them the problem. So they replaced my abs control module and HCU solenoid valve block. Well when I took the car in the brake pedal felt good and now when I try to stop I have to pretty much push the pedal to the floor. Is there anyway I can adjust something with the pedal or do I need to let the computer relearn the new parts or what? The brakes are brand new and it has plenty of brake fluid. So whats my next move? I really don't want to go back to the dealer. They fixed my earlier problem but seem to have created a new one. Any info would be great thanks.

You need to have the brakes bled, air in system.
If you know a garage that you trust its a simple job.
If not take back to dealer and tell them to bleed them again
and do it right this time.

+1
Bleeding the brakes is CRUCIAL anytime the lines are open

as said above, it is simple you could do it yourself if you have someone in the car pushing the pedal

Just remember, Brake fluid WILL TAKE PAINT OFF so dont get it on your hands then touch your car or anything like that

yall think that it is as simple as bleeding the brakes? I hope so. I will give it a try and post back in a few when I can do it.

Of course it's that simple. And even if it turns out to be something worse, always start with the easiest solution first.

please tell me you haven't done it yet

if they have messed up your proportion valve, you need to go back immediately.

Ford started using those damn things in 1992/1993. They require a special tool to properly bleed. bleeding them wrong causes the block to shift...and then you need that tool to get it back to the proper position

a properly bled system won't have this occur...but if you get air into there...yeah, it's a huge PITA.
