Couple questions about CDC chin install
Im hoping to get an aggressive chin soon but im not 100% sold on it yet. I know i like it more then the clasic but im a bit worried about cutting my bumper. Ive looked over the installation manual and it says something about leaving a 1" section left when your cutting. Does this mean i could manage to put a grille back in there if i ever needed to take the chin off it is it irreversible?
Also, is the install pretty basic? I looked over AMs how to and it seems simple.
Lastly, im want it painted match but i dont know how soon ill be able to afford painting (how much is that gonna run me?). Can it be painted while on the car or is it best to have it painted then install it?

they would paint it, then put it on the car, unless it is uncle jim jo bobs body work, you can buy it prepainted from AM and it painted from them seems to be cheaper than buying it and having someone else paint it

Once you cut that bumper, you're stuck with that chin pretty much.
The OEM lower grille will never re-attach because there won't be anything for it to grab onto.
The fit isn't that great on that chin either, just so you know...
