Default Static Noise on Shaker 500

I know this thread was started a while back but I couldn't find it. I have the infamous noise coming from my Shaker 500 system as do many others. I went to the dealer today for the first oil change and mentioned the noise issue to them. Apparently I'm the first one to complain to them and they said there is no TSB that they are aware of. They concluded that since a few other new mustangs on the lot have the same noise that it is normal and therefore they said "no problems found". I'm not surprised by their answer.
Anyone have anything new addressing this issue?

Unfortunately I'm not aware of a TSB. Local Ford dealer wanted to reprogram my ACM but they never called back when I wanted more details.

One of my weiner dogs can hear it. I noticed yesterday when I was sitting in a parking lot with the engine off, I hit the Sync button to call someone and the noise came on, he cocked his head as dogs will do.

Maybe I should take him with me to the dealer and threaten to let him attack their ankles unless they fix it.

There is a TSB for the 05-09 model, but that may not apply to the 2010. Remember that TSBs are VIN specific and if they say it doesn't apply to your car, they wont do it. If I remember correctly, when I read the TSB it instructed the tech to swap the connections between the two amps to see if the noise persisted. If it did, then it was an amp problem. If not then it was something else, can't remember the second part. You could do the amp swap yourself and see if that narrows it down so you have something specific to complain about.

Man, that's nothing! I took my weiner dog to a nude beach one time, and he cocked his head too! He wanted to attack, but I stoped him!

Hope you didn't have to put a "choke hold" on him...

This thread seems to be going to the dogs. Back over at the thread I started July 19th on this shaker noise issue, I have changed the original post and most recent post requesting action.... So.... SPEAK! <g> (But SPEAK OVER THERE!)

https://mustangforums.com/forum/2010-...dio-noise.html

AJ_68 - do you have a posting rights on the other thread you listed?
Perhaps we can get orgainized in one thread.

Thanks,
Tomz

Way too much dicking around over here, that's for sure. Did you guys try the cable swapping I suggested? See if that helps any and you will know where to go from there.
