nobodys mentioned this, but i may be wrong, but changing to that engine is going to create alot more heat, wont you need to upgrade your radiator as well?

ontop of the motor, youl need a new tranny, rear end, suspension, although brakes are not needed it will def be a saftey issue cause ur stopping alot more weight so new brakes to. your going to need a new computer, exhaust.

i know your pain bro, i want to drop a new engine without selling mine as well, to many memories but i am plannign on doing a 427... btw im a V6 so ive asked this question plenty of times.

Look up rygen; he did a 5.4 swap. Also check out mustangcollective.com for 5.4 swaps.

I'm swapping in a 4.6, built and will be blown.

For 18k just for the engine though, I'd just sell the v6 and get a gt500.
You are going to need a tranny, wiring harness, ecu, and a few lines to connect the a/c and fuel system.
