Angry Issues with BamaChips

I just wanted to check in with some fellow enthusiasts about an issue I'm having. I ordered a C&L Racer CAI and a Predator with 3 tunes from BamaChips on 28 Aug Yeah I said 28 Aug and it still hasn't shipped after over 2 months. I've been in email contact but they never answer the phone and now the phone is constantly busy. WTF. I ordered from Doug because I read so many good things about his tunes and customer service. He emailed me on 30 OCT and said it would ship that day. Guess what still nothing and no tracking number. Is there anyone in that area that maybe could heplp me or if Doug is reading could he address my issues. I have been more than patient and already told him if I didn't get my parts by this week I wanted my monet back and would just go to the local shop (ProTree Performance, Hudson, NH) or order from Brenspeed. Has anyone had any issues here before or am I all alone?

While I sympathize what Doug's been going through, this is rediculous. I'd be pissed if I had to wait over two months for an order. Doug should have temporarily stopped accepting new orders. It would have been a wise business decision. Don't take me wrong, I love his tunes, but it seems that he's loosing more customers then gaining them.

Howarmat, thanks for giving me that link now I understand what is going on. I'm sorry to hear about the recent events in Doug's life. I wish I had Known about them when I placed my order that way I wouldn't have to explain were $609 went without anything to show for it. Nor would I have lingered at my office in anticipation of the UPS truck or an Email from Doug for 2 months. I've been in the Army for 12 years and have seen a lot of guys lose their wives because they didn't understand the draw or importance of what we do everyday. Another great thing about the Army is if a guy up and walks out on you he can be dealt with. Doug keep your chin up and don't give up. Drive on.

Regardless of the issue, it's still bad business. Semper Fi!

Wanted to let everyone know if they are interested. I received my stuff from BammaChips last week. The difference is amazing. I can't believe how much more power the car has. The wait sucked but the result is awesome

Glad it worked out well for you in the end. Dougs a great guy and sometimes life can kick you in the a$$ real hard. Though Im sure his business will pick up again and things will get back to normal with his service, I just hope his personal life gets better and wish the best for his mom.
