Why is NAV so rare??

Ty for the information gentlemen I certainly appreciate it. I will certainly be looking for a nav'ed Mustang, but if I find one that has every other feature at the right price, I'll probably just find a solid looking/performing aftermarket system.

I'd agree with your assessment. I wasn't looking for nav. I thought I would get one with the normal Shaker 500 (didn't want to lose the trunk space for the 1000) and then do a replacement with a Pioneer or Eclipse double-din unit.
I just happened to find this one that had Nav in it and was able to get a good deal on it. The Nav in the end didn't effect my price. I'm happy with the stock Nav unit. It does its job very well. The only feature I'm missing that I would like is a bluetooth speakerphone. I wish there was a clean way to add that.
