Default 06 gt manual vs 01-03 boxster S manual

A college friend of mine has a porsche boxster s, i'm not sure of the year but im almost positive its between an 01-03. i haven't gotten to race him yet but i wanted to have a pretty good idea of how i would stand if we went from a roll, or from a dig. I also wanted to know how I would do against another friend 01-02 camaro ss. Its an automatic so I wasn't sure if that would give me any sort of advantage. Thanks for any responses.

I don't know how to get this into the racers bench, so i apologize for always having these kinds of threads posted in the wrong place.

Youll beat the boxster.

The Camaro SS will be faster if its heavily modded. Auto or not. If its stock, run him.

In a drag race you'll beat the Boxster. If it's an autocross or other venue where a premium is placed on handling, then it might be another story. I also have a 2002 Boxster and I've previously owned two Boxster S's.

The boxster's handling is far superior to the mustangs. So if it was around a track I know that I would get toasted pretty bad. What do the boxster s's top out at? Is it 160ish?

0-60 you will cream that boxter, im pretty sure my V6 has the same 0-60 time as a boxter, so you should dominate!

as for the SS, im trying to remember, one of my buds has a SS or a Z28, i cant remember, he just bought a Z06 and only takes his camaro and 5.0Fox out of the garage when he is working on his Z06. but im pretty sure his camaro dominated my freinds GT/CS... but it may be a Z28.

I bought a Boxster back in 97 when it came out and hit 154. It felt solid as a rock at that speed too.
