i really can't imagine your insurance company totaling a 2 week old 2010 GT, especially if you said that you think you mostly did damage to the body. Any pics of the damage?

If your airbags didn't deploy and you were not hurt even without a seat belt and your engine was still running - I doubt it is a total. Sounds plety fixable, especially considering the value of a two week old car.

Sucks that it happened. One thing is for sure, if you are not used to hi power and rear drive, leave the traction control on in the rain......

so you took your 2 week old mustang which you dont know how to drive and were screwing around in the rain without the TCS on and somehow ended up in someones driveway and almost their house. You have to be screwing around pretty good for what happened in your story.

I honeslty hope the insurance totals it and raises your rates so you cant afford another.

Let's give the guy some kudos for coming on here and stating what happened...due to his own fault...but the asswipe responses are really not needed are they?

On another note, I would not go blabbing on a Forum what occurred. You never know who might be lurking

How many RPMs were you turning? I lost traction a few times with my 72 back in the day!

Yeah I learned in winter with a 76 Dodge Aspen. Me and some friends went in a newly developed subdivision one snowy night (No houses were built yet) and was messing around fishtailing and went over a curb. Curb hit the y-pipe under the car, and the force cracked the exhaust manifold. The car was really loud after that. Nothing good usually happens from messing around like that.
