Convertible Top Problem
I left him a message about an hour ago, so keeping fingers crossed, but not holding my breath. It's been a joke with these guys since day one. I always thought the whole point of buying new, is to NOT have to deal with problems, shows you what I know! LOL...
It would seem that they would be interested in making sure the owners of their highest profile vehicle are their happiest. I have already had several people ask about my dealer (who fortunately has been great).
Remember that poop runs downhill. You rattle the cage high enough and it will be running real fast when it hits your Edmonton Ford Dealer. [sm=badbadbad.gif]

OK, not holding my breath, but they are working on my car today (FINALLY!!) The Regional Manager is going to my dealership today and together they are going to figure out what is wrong with my car, but they said that they would phone today and let me know......... Side note, both the Service Manager and the Body Shop Manager got replaced at my dealership day before yesterday... What's up with that?
Femme...

Sounds like you not only rocked the boat.. you rocked it enough to toss a couple of people overboard!
I hope they fix your car.
I have a question... ... ... my fog lghts have a hazey coating on the reflectors that I hate... does anyone else have this issue?

I guess because the lenses aren't airtight, some moisture is bound to get in there. I wonder if you could put a few small desiccant packs in there overnight to dry it up? Just remember to remove them the next morning! Getting them back out would probably be a real nightmare, however...
Nope...
This is a "coating"... as if someone were smoking ciggies in my fog lights.. lol
I suppose I could try to dissmantle them and try to clean off the refelectors, but would rather the dealer did that so if they broke something it would be their responsibility to fix it.

This happened to my car after washing it one day. Just for fun, I took a hair dryer to it and it dissapeared in 10 seconds. I wonder if they could be disassembled and sealed?
I had a difficult time getting my top to clamp shut yesterday afternoon when we had an unexpected light rain. The top had been down for about two weeks and didn't seem to want to stretch back into place. I had thought that all I needed was to grab that handle in the middle and pull, but it was pretty tricky to even get one side to latch. After I got the right side in place I had to really work to get the left side to come down enough to latch. Good thing it wasn't a heavy rain.
I'm thinking that maybe I should put the top up and latch it at least once a week whether it needs it or not, just to be sure I'll be able to close it when the need arises. (It would be no big deal if I didn't bother putting on the boot cover.)

I haven't left mine down overnight, but I know with my Jeep that the tops shrink if they aren't put on regularly and you need to stretch them back out. I believe Professor came across this with his Mustang top as well...
