Alright, so they "FIXED" my problem, yeah right! Still doing the same thing, but they replaced the other side arm now. So all in all they have:
- Purchased April 4, noticed passenger side arm not flattening out properly
- replaced the passenger side arm April 18th
- they broke back window on April 20th while repairing (p) side arm
Got car back May 11th (DENTED in 3 spots) and only after I got Ford of Canada involved, otherwise would have had to wait another 3 monts!
- Dropped of Car to have them Fix the dents thru Body shop May 31
- Got car back June 2
- Oil changed June 13, reported "popping" in suspension and was told is normal (before I joined this forum and found out is not!) and reported still not happy with roof angle when raising it.
- July 17 - roof so bad again had to get husband to manually lift and flatten arms
- July 19 - dropped off to have them "fix" again, replaced drivers side arm
- July 22 - picked up from repair place, still not happy, have 8" of play in arm, still goes up drivers side first by 6", (p) side arm will not flatten out so AGAIN can't use convertible top......


So, now they promise (not holding my breath) to contact Ford of Canada this morning and see what they can do.........Again, will keep you posted. I can't seem to find out if Canada also has a Lemon Law like the US does. Does anyone know????

Sounds like you're quickly approaching lemon law territory. Do they have any other 'verts on the lot you can play with?

Yes, they have one other that I would trade for as I really want the Tan Leather interior, but I can't find anything on lemon law in Canada, so I am trying to find out if I can force the issue or not. I hadn't heard from them yet today so I called, and they told me that the Regional Manager was in a meeting this morning, so that's why they haven't called me yet....

I'd recommend a phone call to the main offices in Detroit, but that might get kinda pricy. You may want to try your luck on the blue oval forums. You might draw a willing ear...

Alright all..... Here's the scoop...

Ford of Canada has told me I AM GETTING A REPLACEMENT CAR!!! WOO HOO. So now just waiting on the dealership to get their SH*T together. The guy at FoC said that I get to order an 06, but the dealership says that they are trying to locate me an 05. I want the 06! Pony package and ALL! If I have to keep an 05 I will stick with Black, if I get to order an 06, as you saw in another thread, I am deciding between Legend Lime and Windveil Blue... Or might stick with Black, I don't know, oh the decisions!!!!!

Will let you know which way it goes as soon as I find out!

LESSON LEARNED: Harass the heck out of them and don't just go away, you will prevail!!!!!!
