Aftermarket shifters do make a lot of racket. They will certainly transfer tranny whine to the cabin.

i was charged $650 for labor alone, dismount and remounting the watts link they added on 150, and they messed up the install, they whined AND squeaked. they didnt keep it all clean so there was debris on the bearing which caused the rear end to squeak but chicane took care of all of that for me

I wish I could tell you silverscmustang...mostly word of mouth from reliable sources.

What really makes my buddy's situation worse is after everything he has been through, his car is now at the shop that we told him to take to in the very beginning.

I am very sorry to hear this. I am not familiar if the 3link suspension could have anything to do with the noise being transferred...maybe someone more knowledgable will chime in.

My only question would be, if they couldn't get it right the first 3 times, what makes them think they'll get it right on the 4th?
