Brake Lights won't cut off

I clearly said I don't have the water leaking issue. No rust anywhere inside the car and no corrosion on the SJB
I know the difference between brake lights and running lights.
Yes I do have a manual transmission.
Talked to my dealership and they said that the pigtail connector can go bad and needs to be replaced to hopefully that is it.....btw its a 40 dollar piece of plastic.
