Hi...looking for advice on what people are doing for wiper sprayers when they put on an aftermarket hood. I have one (hopefully) shipping to me this week, without any mechanism for wiper sprayers. The guy at Fang Performance, where I bought the hood, said it is possible to switch out the wipers entirely with the type that have the sprayers right on the wiper blade assembly. Anyone hear of this, or actually do it??? I'd love to hear your experiences and advice. Thanks!!!

05Vert... Lincoln and Merc have them on their high end cars.... I'm not positive, but I think the LTD -- er-- I mean the 500... also has them...

so.. you have 3 options... order some from your Ford Parts department.... Go to a junk yard and get some off of a wrecked Lincoln (The option I am going to use)..

Or TEst Drive an Lincoln LS and swipe them during your run.

Is this the Fang shaker hood? because if it is, is the CDC shaker hood like this too? I know the CDC version isn't out yet, but I thought I'd ask just in case anybody knew.

Yes...I am going with the Fang shaker setup. Looks like CDC uses the stock hood, so not an issue.

I like the Fang look better, plus I think the washers should be right on the wiper anyway, I'll test drive an LS and steal em from it!!

Having the sprayers on the wipers is awesome. Here in Germany it's hard to wash the windows at 140+MPH. The spray just goes down on the bottom of the window...

when you get that all set up, post the dyno for it! I want to see if it adds any power.

CDC supposedly will be selling a hood for their shaker setup in the future too.
