I have the 3.55s and havent really noticed a drop off in low end torque.... Now dont get me wrong im sure there is a very small amount but it is not that noticeable, at least with my application. Comp does make cams for our cars that do not have the small decrease in low end torque, they are the Comp XFI NSR Stage 1. From my research i found that they are very close to stock and would only give minimal sound and performance gains.... even less than my Stage 2s that i have now. Honestly if you are that worried about low end torque loss, and just wanting more sound, then go with just LTs and an the mid pipe of your choice. The cams do give the lopey idle and will increase the sound/loudness of the exhaust some. Most of what you are hearing when i rev my car is the LTs tho, since i went with a less radical cam.

I am not really worried about power loss to be honest, I just want it all to be worth it haha. What is a middle of the road cam? I would like something a little louder than yours but not that crazy radical ***** thumpr one.

I think kooks lt/xpipe would be quite nice, that's kinda what I am leaning towards, then maybe cams a little later..??

Long tubes really are a 'supporting' mod to cams anyways, you'll get more noticeable gains with the cams once you have the LTs installed... so I'd got LTs first.

Infact, I'm getting LTs for Christmas myself. :-) Just need to decide on Kooks or ARH.

Okay so then it would be smart to go ahead and plan for the headers then?

Anyone have a good set thought would go with my bassani axel backs? Or should I start from scratch?

i run bassani right now.. for you super charged i would do ss headers, or you can get a sit of kooks long tube.. you 1 7/8 with 3" ehaust.. now your ready to rock.. i am going to replace my bassani and get custom set from kooks.. 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 step tube headers.. your headers should be worth about 30 hp.. with good tune.. step tubes should be worth and extra 10-15hp if you got the money..
