As for autozone pads. NEVER!!!!!!

Get the Ford Factory or Hawks HPS pads.
These are fine for your purpose. Get whichever you find the cheapest.
You are presently tire limited in your braking and so there is no advantage to the more expensive or exotic pads unless you start tracking the car. You won't stop any quicker.

Have fun.

Cheers.

Hawk HPS are the best pads you can buy for the money in my humble opinion.

The Autozone Duralast Gold Cmax are ceramic pads. I just installed them on my GT500. They seem to work good for street applications and don't emit as much dust as the factory pads. They appear to be well made quality pads.

I actually just switched to the ceramic Duralast Gold pads, and have no problems, no squeak, less dust (key element to the switch), and recommend them for a stock setup. I'm running Powerslot rotors, too.

I just changed mine with regular raybestos ceramic service grade pads and some drilled and slotted rotors, so far so good.

Ceramic Pads are good for stopping, but will waer the rotors faster. As for stopping distance, the Pads WILL make a difference. Creap organic (Example $19 Pepboys) wont stop as quick as ceramic pads. On the street or track. Your stopping distance will be shorter with ceramic pads.

I'd either go factory replacement, otherwise I've had good luck with Hawk pads in various aftermarket "big brake" kits in the past.

How will ceramic pads stop you in a shorter distance?
I believe braking is limited by the tires. Once the anti-skid operates, that's all your going to get. Any pad can cause the ABS to operate. Better pads will extend the ability to reduce brake fade during track days but will have little effect on daily driving. Am I wrong?

Cheers.

I was wondering the same thing...then again, the pad quality/materials would have a different effect.
