Default Ds window issue

My DS window automatic up suddenly stopped working. It still does the auto down but no auto up, only the DS is having this issue. I am out of the factory warranty and am trying to avoid the stealership, hoping its an easy fix that i can simply preform. Wondering if this has been an issue with anyone else? Thank you!

There is a recalibration procedure in the Owners Manual... You know, that thing made of paper and cardboard inside that compartment on the passenger side of the dash.

Contrary to popular belief, the OM will NOT burst into spontaneous combustion when exposed to light.

Roll the window all the way down and hold the button five seconds in the down position after the window has stopped moving. Then manually roll it all the way up and hold the button in the up position for five seconds after the window has stopped working. That should reteach it. Its happened to me several times after the batter has been disconnected or run low.

Despite popular belief, the Owners Manual will NOT burst into flames if exposed to light and the human eye...

Reading the owners manual seems simple but you seem to be having trouble with it.
But can access the internet to ask questions on forums.
Go figure.
Kids nowdays.

Mine did this a few times awhile back, but a computer reset fixed it. I'd try that first, then go with the adjustment procedure.

Define 'computer reset'.
How was this operation performed?

The 'computer' does not control the windows.
The window motors have their own logic control bnoards on them.
A computer reset would have no bearing on the windows proper operation.
