Default CAM Question

finaly getting my hot rods that have been sitting under my bed for the past 3 months installed for xmas. question is how bad is the smell going to be with no cats? should i get some high flow cats put in? current exhust set up is JLT LTs, MAC O/R Pro Chamber and Flows. just scared of traffic lights next to a cop.

i'd guess the smell would be a little stronger, but probably nothing too overpowering. plus if your worried about sitting next to cops, the sound that setup would make would probably draw more attention than the smell

I haven't noticed a difference but if there is one it's slight. Granted I do have high flow cats, but for the first minute or two, they have not reached temperature yet so they're not very effective until they heat up. I am glad they are there b/c once they heat up, the exhaust smell is gone where-as with an O/R pipe it would always be there. When I first start the car it smells like I have an O/R setup.

Its not that bad you really dont even notice it unless your purposely looking for the smell
