Default Vortec HO install The Netherlands

Hi guys ,

finally my car 2005 gt automatic is at the speedshop for installing the vortec HO ,i had done many threads about which to supercharger to choose ...vortec HO or Brenspeed saleen stage 2.
First i wanted the saleen ,but because Brenspeed didn't had a swiftcode for foreign banking it was a little problem also the shipping was expensive with the taxes here in The Netherlans..but have to say that Brenspeed was giving the best support so far but unfornatly i wasn't able to order there. In The Netherlands there was only 1 shop who could for me order and install Vortec for me,and told me vortec was very safe and also with the wet weather here better then the Saleen to get traction.
But my next Mustang i will buy will be tuned in USA that is much easier...
Like to thank everybody who had giving me so good advice .

The only thing i wanted to do is maybe gears 375...but vortec told me that the car has to go back to dyno ....and the superchager was based on stock gears...??? and maybe a upgrade set in the future does anybody know someting about the upgrade from vortec?????

Thanks
Ralph

Gratz Ralph!

About the gears, the only thing I can think, is if you had to have your computer tuned by vortech.... The gears in the rear end have nothing to do with the supercharger, aside from reving quicker, witch is actualy good for that style supercharger. Do you have a handheld programmer, or is the shop that installed the kit for you able to adjust for gears. Dont know if you have a Ford dealer there, but they may even be able to correct for the gears. Good luck on it all though, and again, welcome to the club!

The vortec just have a new hand tuner that only will do for the supercharger and not for the gears....and the people here or the ford dealer does'nt have any experinece with the mustang...so i think i have to figure myself out. ,maybe buying a flashtuner thrue th internet with the gears....and ask if the speedshop can install them for me....

Hey Ralph, I was just looking at the defualt kits to try to figure out the best solution for you and noticed that the vortech kit, comes with a Diablosport predator tuner.... Is that the one you have? If so, you have everything you need and I can walk you through the steps. Let us know.
