If you part out the car, you will make 1 or 2 grand, and can easily get 14k for the car itself. Idk if you owe any money on it, but that is your best options, leaving the car as is is going to limit you even more in regards to who you can sell it too.

Looks good man, if you are that interested I would post those up asap. The new 2010's are very sharp looking, real head turners IMHO

Well, I don't want to be driving a stock pony for 4-5 months so I'll have to wait a bit.

But, i'll definitely consider parting it out when the times comes

I'm going to wait a year or two, see how many recalls emerge, issues with a new drivetrain etc on the 11's. I want one just as bad as the next guy but cannot see running out and grabbing one of the first to hit the lot. The prices will drop by 2012 as well, ensuring you don't get bent over on this "totally new mustang" lol...and some folks will SURELY retrofit that engine into an 05-10 within the first year...making purchase of a new car not required.

The 6060 is nice but personally I prefer the gearing of the 3650 better. The 6060 is stronger though (heavier) and provides better mileage.

We'll see...I put down a substantial amount on my car and have about 10k equity but these $15k figures make me sad. I personally thought my car was in the $20k value but mileage is getting higher and higher. I drive the **** out of my car...50k miles and growing every day.

Same here, when I bought it, I was hoping to see 20k when I came to sell it. The high milage is the killer. But thats what these cars are made for, to be driven. They are not made to be driven once a month.

And secondly, the new 6sp is a MT82, it is NOT the TR6060. Somewhat sad, the 6060 is one hell of a strong transmission. Hoping ford did their homework and delivers a great tranny

MT82? Is that a new model tremec? I thought they would fit the 6060. Hopefully the 1-3 gearing is closer to the 3650. I assume it will be.

Folks seem to be drooling over your parts. I'll take the clutch haha.

If I do, maybe around late February-March

It is actually designed by (my understand, could be wrong) by Getrag and Ford. No relation to Tremec. I also hear it will only have 1 OD, meaning 5th will be 1:1, also meaning 1-5 should be pretty close ratio. Of course, these are just rumors. We will have to wait a few days/weeks to know for sure
