Sorry Bro... I had my rear defroster connector fall off, and they wanted me to replace the whole roof... Dealer/Ford used every excuse in the book not to cover under warranty. You know why... Hey as far as the deductible crowd goes they have paid the $1000 and then some to the insurance company on a monthly basis.... Hope it is fixed properly.

Shoot, we just paid 1400 for a new roof. Got the cloth vice the sailcloth version. Much nicer. Do NOT get a Kee Top, they suck. I know from experience. They don't warranty, and their quality is bottom notch. Why are you getting boned for 3600? We've had ours done twice, 1300 for the first one. Don't take it to the dealer, they'll just farm it out and keep 500 for themselves.

The rear window on my sisters 07 vert is separating from the top along the bottom of the window. Anyone with eyes can see this is a factory defect yet she's been waiting over a month for word from Ford as to rather or not they are going to cover it. Got a quote from the installer the dealers use to install thier tops and it was $1632 for a new tan vinyl one like orignial. They also said its quite common and there is no way to glue the vinyl to the window and have it last. Found new tops online for $799 in case I have to learn how to install one. Good luck with yours.
